Introduction
The CommDTM for ProfiCore Ultra offers any mobile FDT/DTM-based Plant Asset Management system the possibility to access PROFIBUS devices in a simple and standardized way. This eliminates the need to carry a second USB to PROFIBUS interface for displaying diagnostic information and configuration of instrumentation and actuators.
Features
The CommDTM provides the same capabilities for automatic baud rate detection as ProfiCaptain; all bus parameters are automatically detected before going online. A free master address is also proposed. In addition, all ProfiTrace and ProfiCaptain features such as the bus monitor, oscilloscope, DP-V0 master and OPC server can be used concurrently with the CommDTM.
